Tuesday 17th December – Christmas Dinner at Droitwich Golf Club – time 7pm for 7:30. Sign up sheet at November & December Meetings. The cost is £35 for 3 courses, £30 for two courses apart from drinks on the night. This is to be paid by 11th December.

The menu choices are:–
Starters – fillet of plaice, warm potato salad, pesto, tomato chutney or
Galia melon with seasonal berries and raspberry sorbet

Mains – Roast crown of turkey, pigs in blankets and thyme and chestnut stuffing
Steamed fillet of lemon sole with prawns in a vermouth cream sauce
Roasted cauliflower steak with macaroni bon bon and white onion sauce

Dessert Tart lemon and lime posset with lemon curd emulsion
Bread and butter pudding with whisky and vanilla custard

Thursday 15th August – 2pm Afternoon Tea at Stanbrook Abbey. The food was excellent and the setting quite splendid with a chance to explore after we had eaten. Boxes were provided for what we could not finish!
